The Knife of Love

The knife of love sharpened itself on my heart

I traveled in a narrow redvalley of lightly shining trees

Relief found me and I knew

We would meet again

Though we were so far apart

It was chancy

Angels sang in body of a cat who longed for consuming  affection

A bright blue light appeared by my

side proving my spirit

I hope our meeting is soon

They say I’m old

The knife of love sharpened itself on

My heart
